Congratulations to the Indiana Pacers for advancing to the 2025 NBA® Finals! Over the next few days we will be highlighting some trademark registrations celebrating the NBA’s championship game, including those owned by Oklahoma City and Indiana. Good luck Pacers!

PACERS® is a word mark registered primarily for entertainment services [3], but also for various types of clothing [4]. INDIANA PACERS® is also a registered trademark for various types of clothing [5].

The Pacers also own several trademarks for its slogans, including BOOMER® (for entertainment services in the nature of basketball games and mascot performances [6]), BOOM BABY® (for Entertainment and educational services in the nature of ongoing television and radio programs in the field of basketball and rendering live basketball games and basketball exhibitions [7] and clothing [8]), and PACEMATES® (for entertainment and educational services in the nature of ongoing television and radio programs in the field of basketball and rendering live basketball games and basketball exhibitions [9]).

And finally, the Pacers has used and currently own several design marks from over the years. The P Palming Logo design mark [10] and the P Pacers Retro Logo design mark [11] are registered trademarks for various types of clothing.  

The P Pacers Logo design mark is a registered trademark for toys and sporting goods [12] along with posters, calendars, stickers, athletic bags, and computer software, among other goods [13]. The P Logo design mark is registered for clothing [14] and a wide variety of goods and services including audio and video recordings, jewelry, posters and stickers, athletic bags, pillows and cushions, drinking glassware, cloth flags, toys and sporting goods, retail store services, sports broadcasting, and entertainment and educational services related to basketball [15].

The Indiana Pacers Circular Logo is a registered trademark for entertainment and educational services related to basketball [16] and also for computer software, bookmarks and children’s books, clothing, audio broadcasting, jewelry, athletic bags, toy boxes and chests, cloth pennants, retail store services, and toys and sporting goods [17]. And the Pacers State Logo design mark is registered for entertainment and educational services related to basketball [18] and clothing, toys and sporting goods, computer software, jewelry, books and stickers, and athletic bags, among others [19].
